About The Hawley Record.

Who runs this site

The Hawley Record is independent political commentary written by a private Missouri citizen. It is not affiliated with, authorized by, or paid for by Josh Hawley, his Senate office, any campaign or candidate committee, or any political party. It doesn’t sell anything, take donations, or run ads.

How we source

Every factual claim links to its source: newspapers including the Kansas City Star, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Missouri Independent, public radio (KCUR, NPR), fact-checkers (PolitiFact), and official records. Where Hawley has a defense, we include it. The insults are opinion, and they’re labeled that way.

Corrections

Facts matter more than zingers. If you find a factual error, email [email protected] with a source, and it will be corrected with a note on the page.

Privacy

This site uses no cookies, no tracking scripts and no ads. Like most websites, its server keeps logs of each request (IP address, approximate country, browser, the page requested and the referring page), which are used only to count visitors and are deleted after five years. Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which processes it under its own privacy policy.

Where to start

Missouri deserves better than a Virginia commuter who ran from the mob he cheered.

Hawley’s term runs until January 2031. What’s on the ballot on November 3, 2026 is the abortion repeal he’s campaigning for. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 7, 2026. Make sure you’re registered, and bring a friend.
